Vera C. Olson 1925-2002
  June 25, 2002


  Former Garner resident, Vera C. Olson of Mason City, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at the home of her daughter, Jo. She was 77.

  A memorial service and celebration of her life was held Tuesday, June 18 at the Trinity Lutheran Church Chapel, Mason City, with the Rev. Kenneth Hatland officiating.

  The Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, Mason City, was in charge of the service.

  Vera Olson was born on September 2, 1925, to Harrison and Ivajane Hedgecock of Mason City. She lived in Mason City until going to Washington to marry her husband, Palmer in 1943. She attended the Mason City High School, class of 1943.

Manley Orvick 1919-2002
  June 25, 2002


  Manley "Bud" Orvick, 83, of Britt died Monday, June 17, 2002, at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, June 20 at the First Lutheran Church of Britt. Dr. John Meyer, pastor, officiated. Music was provided by organist, Donna Tech who accompanied soloist, Haley Crane and congregational hymns. Ushers were Don Dallman and Paul Smith.

  Casketbearers were Carroll Burras, Ray Burras, Brian Curry, Robert Curry, Elson Heggen and Lowell Heggen. Burial was in the Norway Township Cemetery, Kanawha. The Ewing Funeral Chapel of Britt was in charge of the arrangements.

  Manley Orvick was born on April 5, 1919, at Goldfield, Iowa. He was the son of Severt and Tena (Williams) Orvick.

Frederick W. Robeoltman 1914-2002
  June 25, 2002


  Frederick "Fred" W. Robeoltman of Rockwell died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at the Rockwell Community Nursing Home. He was 87 years old.

  Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 24, at the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Rockwell with Pastor Jackie Swanson officiating. Interment was in the Rockwell Cemetery. Visitation was held from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, at the Fullerton Funeral Home in Rockwell. Visitation continued Monday one hour prior to services at the church.

  Fred was born August 18, 1914, the son of Hermann and Anna (Eilers) Robeoltman. He was born and raised on the family farm between Rockwell and Swaledale.

Elmer K. Livingston 1931-2002
  June 25, 2002


  Funeral services for Elmer Kenneth Livingston, formerly of Corwith, were held Tuesday, June 25 at the Corwith United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Dodge officiating.

  Internment followed the church services at the Corwith Cemetary. Military graveside rites were conducted by the Elmer Wilson American Legion Post #229.

  Elmer Kenneth Livingston was born on March 4, 1931, near Corwith, Iowa, to Arthur "Bud" and Ena Adams Livingston.

Jane A. Geddes 1941-2002
  July 09, 2002


  Former Garner resident, Jane A. Geddes of Estacada, Oregon died of natural causes, Sunday, June 30, 2002 at the Mount Hood Medical Center, Oregon. She was 60.

  Jane Geddes was born September 3, 1941, the daughter of Harold E. and Rose A. (Malek) Geddes.

  A memorial service for Jane Geddes will be held at a later date.
