JOHN A. JACOBS SR.
RUDD - John A. Jacobs Sr., 87, of Nora Springs, died Sunday (June 9, 2002) at the Nora Springs Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Rudd United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Terra Amundson, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Rudd.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye in Nora Springs with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Rudd United Methodist Church or Hospice of North Iowa.
John was born Dec. 11, 1914, in rural Rudd, the son of H. Royal and Myrtie (Berk) Jacobs. He graduated from the Rudd High School in 1934.
He was united in marriage to Leona Lacour Feb. 28, 1940, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. They were married for 62 years.
John started his lifelong farming career at Bristow, later moving to Rudd where they resided until moving to Nora Springs at Summit Heights Assisted Living in February of 1999.
He loved nature, caring for his livestock, taking grandkids for walks and in later years enjoyed reading books and watching Iowa Hawkeye basketball games. He lived life to its fullest and enjoyed his family.
He was a life long active member of the Rudd United Methodist Church and was a 4-H leader for many years.
Those grateful for sharing in his life include his wife, Leona, of Nora Springs; four children, John (Norma) Jacobs Jr., of Manson; Kathy (George) Tumilson, of Rockford; Barb (Steve) Thiher, of Cedar Rapids; and Deb Weiss, of Iowa City, and her special friend, Paul Martin; nine grandchildren, Kristie (Randy) Pohlman, of Nora Springs, Darin (Carrie) Jacobs, of Alden, Joy (Scott) McMeekan, of Moline, Ill., Shelle (Corey) Sporaa, of Eagle Grove, Steven (Angie) Thiher, of Newhall, Jon Tumilson, of San Diego, Calif., Michael Thiher, of Cedar Rapids, Rachel Weiss and Lisa Weiss, both of Iowa City; seven great-grandchildren, Tasha Hill, Quentin Hill, Dylan Sporaa, Kobey Pohlman, Kamryn Pohlman, Kaitlyn Pohlman and Kelsi McMeekan; three stepgrandchildren, David (Eileen) Bangtson, of Story City, Allan (Pam) Bangtson, of Cedar Falls, and Jeanne (Bill) Krebs, of Manson; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Matt, Adam, Amy and Michael Bangtson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Ballhagen; and his brother, Alton Jacobs.

WILLIAM A. PATTSCHULL
MASON CITY - William A. Pattschull, 90, of 804 S. Kentucky Ave. died Saturday (June 8, 2002) at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
His funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, 119 S. Georgia Ave., with the Rev. Jeff Dahlin officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. with a 7 p.m. Masonic service conducted by Benevolence Lodge #145 A.F. & A.M.
Memorials may be given to the William A. Pattschull Memorial Fund.
Bill was born Nov. 8, 1911, in Mason City, the son of Theodore R.A. and Clara E. (Gaines) Pattschull. He graduated from Mason City High School, attended Mason City Junior College and furthered his education at the University of Chicago.
He married Jessie L. Adams on March 3, 1935, in Mason City.
Bill served with the Seabees in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1943 until his discharge in 1945.
Following his discharge, he returned to Mason City where he worked as a government food inspector. Bill worked as an inspector for 30 of his 33 years at Jacob E. Decker and Sons, retiring in 1974.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, past master of Benevolence Lodge #145 A.F. and A.M., White Shrine, High Twelve, AARP, NARP, Age Wise, Senior Advantage and the North Iowa Ham Radio Club.
He is survived by his son, Richard W. Pattschull and wife, Joyce, of Iowa City; daughter, Barbara Ann Reiff and husband, Al, of Ankeny; three grandchildren, Jeffrey and Bryan Pattschull, and Amy Reiff.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and wife, Jessie, in 1997.

BANCROFT - August William Berte, 77, of Bancroft, died Sunday (June 9, 2002) at home.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Bancroft with Father Paul Bormann officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Bancroft.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home in Bancroft with a rosary at 4 p.m. and a vigil for the deceased at 7 p.m. There will be further visitation from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of serivce at the church.

RAYMOND 'RAY' FLYNN
HOOPESTON, Ill. - Raymond "Ray" Flynn, 81, of Hoopeston, died at 6:55 p.m. on Sunday (June 9, 2002) at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette, Ind.
Born Dec. 1, 1920, at Hoopeston, Ill., he was the son of Silas and Effie Howard Flynn. He married Marian "Penny" Bracken on Aug. 28, 1946, at Mason City, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Flynn, of Hoopeston, Ill.; one daughter, Jacquee (Scott) Johnson, of Lakeland, Fla.; one grandson, Graham Johnson, of Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters, Fern Laflin, of Lima, Ohio and Lucille Vorick, of Hoopeston, Ill.; one brother, William C. (Lois) Flynn, of Lafayette, Ind.
His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Flynn worked for more than 40 years for FMC Corp. of Hoopeston as a leadman in the welding department, retiring in 1986.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army.
Mr. Flynn was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Hoopeston.
He enjoyed woodworking, golf, working around his home and working in his church.
Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 17, at the United Methodist Church in Hoopeston, Ill., with the Rev. Dan Lybarger officiating. Private burial with military rites will be held at Floral Hill Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

MASON CITY - Bernard J. Clark, 69, of 1507 Eighth St. S.W. died Sunday (June 9, 2002) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

ORTWIN WILLIAM HOLLATZ
OSAGE - Ortwin Hollatz passed away Sunday (June 9, 2002) at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage at the age of 92.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1921 317th St., south of Osage, with the Rev. Christian F. Gugel officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage and will continue one hour before services at the church.
Ortwin William Hollatz, the son of Albert and Helena (Erdmann) Hollatz, was born Oct. 12, 1909, in St. Ansgar. He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, on Oct. 31, 1909. He was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, Iowa, on April 13, 1924.
Ortwin was united in holy matrimony to Esther Schuttler on March 16, 1937, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa. This marriage was blessed with one son, Robert.
They farmed south of Osage until his retirement in 1976, when Ort and Esther moved to town and Bob remained on the farm. In March of 2001 he moved to Faith Lutheran Home where he had been on the board of directors for many years. He enjoyed living at Faith Home and made many new friends there.
In death, Ort joins those who preceded him to their eternal home, his parents; his wife, Esther in 1989; a daughter-in-law; Lynette in 1991; four brothers, Lawrence, Arthur, Oscar, and Earl Hollatz; five sisters, Esther Haupt, Leona Thorson, Edna Muller, Laura Muller, and Elsie Dieterich.
Those who survive him include, his son, Robert and his wife, Colleen, of Osage; his grandchildren, Pam Mayer and husband, Nick, of Overland Park, Kan.; Mike, Amanda, and Erica Hollatz of Osage; and two stepgrandchildren, Zack and Hannah Elliott, of Osage; as well as many relatives and friends.

MAXINE ELIZABETH DORR
BELMOND - Maxine Elizabeth Dorr, 78, formerly of the Belmond, and New Hampton, Mo., areas, died Saturday ( June 8, 2002) at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Albert Lea.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, west of Belmond, with the Rev. Lowell Halvorson, officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Tenold-Andrews Funeral Home, 516 First St. S.E. in Belmond and continue one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the St. Olaf Church Cemetery.
Maxine E. Link was born Feb. 6, 1924, on her parents' farm in rural Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Conrad R. and Zada Ellen Sears Link. She attended Mason City schools and graduated in 1942.
Maxine was united in marriage to Lloyd K. Heggestad in Mason City on Aug. 22, 1942. To this union four children were born, Gary, Marvie, Linda, and Dennis.
She later married Russell J. Dorr in Belmond. The couple farmed for several years in the Belmond and Kanawha areas. Russell also owned and operated a trucking business which Maxine helped him operate. She had driven livestock trucks for the business. The couple also farmed near Goodell, for a time and in July 1976 moved to a farm in Martinsville, Mo., near Bethany. They lived there until Russell's death in July 1986.
Following Russell's death, Maxine lived for a time in Rowan, Iowa, before returning to New Hampton, Mo., where her son, Gary Heggestad and his family cared for her.
In 1992, Maxine and her son Gary, and his family moved to Glenville, Minn. She lived with them until 1994, at which time she became a resident of the Good Samaritan Care Center in Albert Lea. She had lived there since that time.
In addition to farming with her husband and assisting with the trucking business, Maxine was a lifelong homemaker. She had also been a devoted caregiver, working for various health care institutions.
In the mid 1950s she was employed as a nurse's aide with Mercy Hospital in Mason City and in the early 1960s at the hospital in Windom, Minn. She had worked for a time at the Belmond Medical Center in the mid 1960s and for a time at the Belmond Health Care Center. Maxine, had also done some home healthcare work, providing care in their home to Vernita and Chloe Thomas of Belmond.
Maxine truly loved people and her family was very important in her life. She loved cooking, baking, and canning. Making homemade ice cream, butter, and cottage cheese were some of her specialties.
A favorite pasttime was listening to ''Party Line'' on the radio, exchanging various recipes, ideas, and other information.
During her years as a resident of the care center she had enjoyed attending the chapel services and singing the songs, despite having complications of Alzheimer's disease.
Those left to cherish the memory of her life, include, her son, Gary and his wife, Darlene Heggestad, of Glenville, Minn.; daughter, Linda Crill, of New London; stepdaughter, Marlene Wessels, of Goodell; sister, Mildred "Mickie" Madson, of Mason City; sister-in-law, Mary Belle Link, of Casper, Wyo.; brother -in-law, Leland Dorr and his wife, Adean, of Belmond; grandsons, Robert Heggestad, of Tacoma, Wash., Jerry and wife, Denise Heggestad, and their children, Robyn, Cheyenne, and April, of Herford, Texas;, granddaughter, Terri Howlett and husband, Kurt, and their children, Robbie, Aaron, and Lucas, of Clear Lake; grandson, Scott Halama and wife, Tamara, and their children, Christopher, Brandon, Gabriel, and Desire', of Keosauqua; granddaughter, Lisa Stanbary and husband, Jessie, and their children, Cameron, Kelsey, and Adam, of New London; granddaughter Tammy Christensen, and husband, Rob, and their children, Colton, Justice, and Jade, of Mt. Pleasant; grandson, Mark Heggestad and wife, Ann, of Emmons, Minn.; grandson, Brad Heggestad, of Glenville, Minn., and grandson, Lynn Heggestad and wife, Michelle, and their daughter, Shayla, of Glenville, Minn.; granddaughter, Donna Basener and husband, David, and their four children, including, daughter, Nicole Gutman and husband, Larry, and their son Gabriel, of Oklahoma City, Okla., son, Nathan, David Dan, and Danielle Basener, all of Meservey; and a granddaughter Linda Schrage and husband Steve, Clarion, Iowa, and a grandson, John Wessels and wife, Tammy, and their children, Katie, Rachal, Cole, and Heath Wessels, all of Kanawha.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lloyd Heggestad and Russell Dorr; sons, Dennis and Marvie; and three brothers, Clement Emery Link, of Casper, Wyo., Seward L. Link, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Almon R. Link, of Mason City.

BERNARD J. CLARK
MASON CITY - Bernard J. Clark, 69, of 1507 8th St. S.W., died Sunday (June 9, 2002) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

Bernie was born Aug. 4, 1932, in Mason City, the son of Barney and Leah (Beisel) Clark. He graduated from Mason City High School.
Bernie married Janet A. Jarshaw on Nov. 18, 1950, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City. The Clarks celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November of 2000.
Bernie worked for Armour Co. for 44 years retiring on Aug. 26, 1994. Following retirement, he worked part-time for Marshall and Swift.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson.
He is survived by two sons, Gary Clark and wife, Vicky, of Mason City and Mark Clark, of Mason City; two daughters, Julie Dorsey, of Mason City, and Kimberly Clark, of Mason City; five grandchildren, Heather Welch and husband, Ryan, Melissa and Matthew Clark, Amber and Kristen Dorsey; great-grandson, Ethan; sister-in-law, Georgia Clark of Mason City; nephew, David Clark and wife, Ann; two nieces, Christine and Karen Clark.

SANDRA KAY FERGUSON
ALGONA - Funeral services for Sandra Kay Ferguson, 40, of Algona, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home in Algona, with the Rev. Philip J. Webb officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Sandra Kay Ferguson was born on April 16, 1962, at Britt, to Edward and Juanita Dalton Kaduce. She received her education in Garner, graduating from Garner High School in 1981. Sandy attended NIACC in Mason City for one and a half years.
She was married to Charles Ferguson on May 22, 1982, at the Methodist Church in Garner. Sandy became a nursing assistant and worked at the Westview Care Center in Britt. She also worked at Winnebago Industries in Forest City for a time. Her first daughter, Wendy, was born in March of 1985.
In September of 1986 the family moved to Algona, where she worked at the Good Samaritan Center until July of 1988, when her second daughter, Heather, was born.
Sandy was a devoted mother to her daughters. She was a Girl Scout leader for 10 years.
Sandy enjoyed ceramics, reading, and collecting lighthouses.
Sandy died on Monday (June 10, 2002) at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn. following a lingering illness at the age of 40.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Charles; and her two daughters, Wendy and Heather, all of Algona. Also surviving is her father, Edward Kaduce and his wife, Janet, of Mountain Lake, Minn.; and her three sisters, Nancy Hodson and her husband, Roger, of Forest City, Karmon Kaduce, of Algona, and Julie Hedges and her husband, Butch, of Marshall, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents.

DR. ROBERT J. JAKOUBEK
CHARLES CITY - Dr. Robert J. Jakoubek, 57, of Charles City died Tuesday (June 11, 2002) at his home.
His funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City with Monsignor Stanley Hayek, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Charles City.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St. in Charles City with a vigil of Christian burial at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Dr. Jakoubek was born Sept. 13, 1944, in Garner, to John and Rose (Paca) Jakoubek. He was raised on a farm northeast of Duncan. He attended school in Hayfield and graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1962.
On July 17, 1965, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Hayes at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garner. They made their home in Iowa City while Bob attended the University of Iowa. Dr. Jakoubek received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Iowa in 1969 and his D.D.S. degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1973.
He was in private practice in Charles City from 1973 until 1996, having to retire due to a medical condition. He missed his practice and all of his patients.
In addition to his private practice, Bob's professional and community activities were numerous. He has served in all offices of the North Central District Dental Society, served on the Iowa Dental Association Council on Dental Health and served as a delegate to both the IDA and the American Dental Association House of Delegates.
He was a trustee to the IDA Board of Trustees for six years and served in all offices. He was president of the Iowa Dental Association for 2000-2001. He was Dental Representative on the Scope of Practice Review Committee and was on the Iowa Department of Public Dental Advisory Council.
He also served as chair of the Iowa Dental Foundation. He was a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy; Fellow of the American College of Dentists; and Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He was a member of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry Centennial Club and the University of Iowa President's Club.
Locally, his service included the Floyd County Board of Health; Charles City Parks and Recreation Board; Recreational Trail Planning Committee; Community Revitalization, serving as board chairman; Charles City Library Board, serving as president; Rotary Club; United Way Board of Directors; YMCA Board of Directors; Parents Advisory Board, Charles City Community Schools; Immaculate Conception Church Parish Council; Immaculate Conception School Board of Education, serving as president; Charles City Chamber of Commerce, serving as an ambassador; and First Citizens National Bank Board of Directors, Mason City.
Dr. Jakoubek was the recipient of the Rotary Community Service Award in 1998 and Rotary's Paul Harris Award in 2002.
He received the Main Street Iowa Volunteer of the Year Award from Community Revitalization in 1998 and the Iowa Dental Association's Presidents Award in 1999.
Bob loved reading, biking with Mary Jane, gardening and woodworking with his children and most especially, playing with his granddaughters.
Dr. Jakoubek is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; his daughters, Amy Kloberdanz and her husband, Bob, of Charles City, and Kris Jakoubek, of Denver, Colo.; two granddaughters, Ellie and Kate Kloberdanz; four sisters, Arlene Wellik, of Woden, Marie Formanek of Garner, Gertrude Wellik and her husband, Leo, of Garner, and Margaret Young and her husband, Paul, of Garner; a sister-in-law, Sue Bowman and her husband, Jim, of Geneva, Ill.; two aunts, Rose Brcka and Blanche Paca; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Jakoubek; his parents-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Frank Hayes; and two brothers-in-law, Paul Wellik and Leonard Formanek.

MASON CITY - Esther C. McClellan, 95, died Wednesday (June 12, 2002) at USA Health Care, Mason City.

RODNEY M. HALL
HANLONTOWN - Rodney M. Hall, 65, formerly of Hanlontown, presently residing at Lake Jefferson, Cleveland, Minn., and Sun City, Ariz., died Tuesday (June 11, 2002) near his home at Lake Jefferson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Hanlontown with the Rev. Duane Everson officiating. Burial will be at Brush Point Cemetery near Hanlontown.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Petersen Lund Funeral Home, 505 N Clark St., Forest City.
Rodney M. Hall was born in Mason City on Dec. 1, 1936, the son of Marion O. and Leona (Gesme) Hall. He received his education in Hanlontown and graduated from Hanlontown High School in 1954. He continued his education at Luther College in Decorah, graduating in 1958. He began working at the Union State Bank in Winterset where he continued until 1960.
He married Lorean K. Jackson in Winterset on July 17, 1960.
Rod was vice president of the Citizen Savings Bank in Hanlontown from 1960 until 1981. He served as mayor of Hanlontown from 1974 to 1984 and was active in the Volunteer Fire Department for more than 20 years.
In 1991, the couple began spending their winters in Sun City, Ariz., and their summers at Lake Jefferson, Cleveland, Minn.
Rod was active in the Boy Scouts of America, earning his Eagle Scout award as a young man. He was a scoutmaster, district chairman and council vice president and received several awards recognizing his efforts in scouting: the District Award of Merit, the Vigil Honor and the Silver Beaver. He also served on several congregational and church district committees. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hanlontown and an associate member of the American Lutheran Church in Sun City, Ariz., where he sang in the church choir.
Rod served in the National Guard for many years. He had a keen interest in genealogy and was an active member of the Torske Klubben.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Lorean Hall of Cleveland, Minn.; son, Ross M. Hall of Mankato, Minn.; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and David Dey of Vacaville, Calif.; and grandchildren Cameron and Kiersten. Also surviving are a brother and his wife, Lowell and Pat Hall of Hanlontown, and a sister and her husband, Maxine and Harold Beckner of Clear Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents.

ST. ANSGAR - Judith K. Wolff, 63, died Tuesday (June 11, 2002) at Mitchell County Regional Health Care Center, Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Robert Porisch officiating. Burial will take place at St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Judith was born June 2, 1939, in Trenton, Mo., the daughter of Fay and Bonnie (Welch) Bryant. She grew up in Trenton and graduated from Trenton High School in 1957.
On April 27, 1958, she married Larry Wolff in St. Ansgar. They were the parents of four children. The family moved from Missouri to St. Ansgar in August of 1967, where she has continued to make her home.
Judy worked as a secretary for many years. She served as secretary to the superintendent of schools from 1974 through 1984 and then was employed by the Adams, Rizzi & Sween law firm in Austin from 1984 until she retired in September 2001 due to ill health.
Judy enjoyed a variety of activities, including bowling, reading and singing with her sisters. One accomplishment in which she took pride was being appointed to the St. Ansgar City Council in March of 1972 to complete the unexpired term of a council member who moved away. It was a history-making event in that she was the first woman to serve on the Council.
Judy was a member of First Lutheran Church of St. Ansgar.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; two sons, Larry Jr. and his wife, Marjorie, of St. Ansgar, and Kelly and his wife, Lora, of Albia; and a daughter, Ramona, and her husband, Larry Shunkwiler, of Forest City. Judy also is survived by eight grandchildren, Kevin Wolff, Jessica Wolff, Casey Wolff and Joshua Wolff, and Nathan To, Chelsea To, Dalton Shunkwiler and Megan Shunkwiler. She is survived by two sisters, Mary (Jake) Batson of Galt, Mo., and Lanah (Orien) Bagley of Waco, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Linda (Les) Brych of Stacyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Shelby, who died in infancy.

GREENFIELD, Ind. - Zane Richard Behne, 65, formerly of Clear Lake, died Sunday (June 9, 2002) at Haucocu Memorial Hospital in Greenfield, Ind.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Park Cemetery, Nora Springs, with the Rev. Dean Hess of Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 North Hawkeye, Nora Springs.
Zane was born February 25, 1937, in Eau Claire, Wis., the son of Lee and Irma (Hall) Behne. He graduated from Rockford High School and later entered the U.S. Air Force.
In 1974, Zane retired from the Air Force as a master sergeant. He lived in Clear Lake for several years, where he was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. For the past year, he has resided in Greenfield, Ind., where he worked for Wells Nursery and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Zane is survived by two sons, Charles Behne of Mesquite, Texas, and Billy Behne of Fairview, Texas; one daughter, Amy Cummins of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Jack Behne of Westminster, Calif.; one sister, Joan Meister of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
He is also survived by his loving family of 13 years, Mitzi, Andrea and Collin.
Zane was preceded in death by his parents.

COLLINS - Rosalie F. Enfield, 48, of Collins, died Thursday (June 13, 2002) at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, from cancer.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Collins United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Don Carlson officiating. Burial will be at Brethren Cemetery south of Maxwell.

Rosalie was born March 29, 1954, at Osage, the daughter of Henry and Alfrieda (Pagel) Crooks. She was united in marriage to Calvin Enfield June 18, 1988, in Collins. Rosalie graduated in 1972 from Nevada High School and attended Iowa State University, where she majored in journalism.
She was an administrative assistant in the Engineering Department at Iowa State University. Before working at Iowa State University, Rosalie worked for Iowa Hospital Association for a number of years.
Rosalie was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church at St. Ansgar on Easter Sunday of 1954 and was a member of the Collins United Methodist Church, where she had taught Sunday School. Rosalie enjoyed cross-stitching, the jumble puzzle, music and being a soccer mom.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin, of Collins; three sons, Dan Enfield, of Tempe, Ariz., Nicholas Enfield and Andrew Enfield, both at home in Collins; and one daughter, Emily Enfield, of Urbandale; her mother, Alfrieda Crooks, of Dows; two brothers, Adrian Crooks, of Boone, and Randy Crooks, of Ames; six sisters, Carolyn Loftaas, of Kensett, Glenita Brown, of Mason City, Marjorie Tuthill, of Kensett, Cynthia Mallette, of Boone, Mary Casterton, of Mason City and Ramona Parkin, of Norwalk; and her mother-in-law, Betty Enfield, of Maxwell.

Born in Charles City on June 2, 1952, Dvona was the daughter of Erwin and Cornellia (Lang) Siewertsen. She graduated from Charles City High School and worked at a greenhouse as well as Club Iowa in Charles City. She had worked at Agrilink in Waseca for the past 18 years.
She enjoyed camping, needlepoint, word searches, baking and cars. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Nora Springs.
She is survived by her mother, Cornellia Siewertsen, of Nora Springs; one brother, Maynard Siewertsen and his wife, Debra, of Charles City; five sisters, Venita Roy and her husband, Oliver, of Apple Valley, Minn., Rosa Beth Bass, of Bassett, Idona Patton and her husband, Jack, of Cedar Rapids, Martha Kopejtka and her husband, Dwayne, of O'Neill, Neb., and Olene Schroeder and her husband, Allan, of Greene; and many nieces and nephews.
