Evelyn Spangenberg, 80, of Hampton, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at the Scenic Manor Nursing Facility in Iowa Falls.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, at 1:30 p.m., at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton, with visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the service time. Burial will be in the Dumont Cemetery.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, October 14, from 2-4:00 p.m., at the Retz Funeral Home in Sheffield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, October 15, at the First United Methodist Church in Sheffield. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield.

Lenore Ann Clara Schermer, 84, of Latimer, died on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 15, at 10:30 a.m., at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer. Burial was in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Latimer. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, was in charge of the arrangements.

Martha Sophia Heimbuch, 90, of Mason City, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the Troy Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25, from 3-7:00 p.m., at the Major-Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 26, at 10:00 a.m., at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mason City. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
