Full military honors and internment was held on Thursday, November 5, at the Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pennsylvania. The Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of Palmyra, Pennsylvania was in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 10, at 1:30 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the service time. Burial was in the Hampton Cemetery.

Helen Frances Klousia Werner, 94, died on Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids Iowa, following a sudden illness.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 12, at the Salem United Methodist Church in Van Horne. Burial was in the Salem Cemetery near Van Horne. The Phillips Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Salem United Methodist Church in Van Horne.

Dorothy M. Heath, 96, of Storm Lake, died on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 18, at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake. Inurnment was in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake was in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation was held from 5-7:00 p.m., on Friday, November 20, at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ, rural Geneva. Funeral services were on Saturday, November 21, at 2:00 p.m., at the St. Peter's Untied Church of Christ in Geneva. Burial was in the St. Peter's Cemetery, rural Geneva. Memorials may be directed to the family to be used for Lucy's favorite mission projects. The Linn's Funeral Home, Ackley, handled the arrangements.
