Morris Parks, 83, of Hampton, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at the Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility in Hampton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, at 1:30 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton, with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, is in charge of the arrangements.

Laura Poley, 92, of Ackley, died on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at the Presbyterian Village in Ackley.

Funeral services were held at 2:15 p.m., on Sunday, October 19, at the St. John's United Church of Christ in Ackley. Private burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery, Ackley. The Sietsema Funeral Home, Ackley, was in charge of the arrangements.

Evelyn J. Harms, 76, of Hampton, died on Friday, October 17, 2008, at the Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 19, at the Retz-Grarup Funeral Home in Sheffield. Private family funeral services will be held at a later time. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery.

Alice M. Schamber, 64, of Mason City, died on Sunday, October 19, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 24, at the Messiah Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Bruce Kaltwasser officiating. Burial was in the Grant Township Cemetery, rural Hampton. The Major Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City, was in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 25, at the Zion Reformed Church, Sheffield, with Pastor Art Zewert officiating. Burial was in the Zion Reformed Church Cemetery, Sheffield. The Dugger Funeral Home, Latimer, was in charge of the arrangements.

Pauline Cameron, 76, of Merriam Woods, Missouri, died on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at her home.

Gertrude Mary Mahler, 83, of Dumont, formerly of Columbiana, Ohio, died on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the Madrid Home for the Aging in Madrid.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 30, at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Dumont. Other services will take place on Saturday, November 1, in Columbiana, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, November 1, at the Warrick-Krummer Funeral Home in Columbiana, with graveside services following at 2:00 p.m., at the Comunbiana Cemetery, with Pastor Len Derico officiating.

Douglas A. Grefe

Douglas A. Grefe, 57, of Hampton, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Douglas donated his body to medical study at the University of Iowa. A life celebration open house was held at Mayne's Grove on Saturday, November 1, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
