Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 7, at 11:30 a.m., at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hampton, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. to time of service at the church. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, rural Bristow. The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, is in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial service for Gretchen Hemm will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield. Family will greet friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield. The Retz-Grarup Funeral Home in Sheffield is in charge of the arrangements.

Gretchen Louise Niedringhaus Hemm, 80, of Sheffield, died on Friday, September 8, 2006, at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Delmer Dale Daniels

Delmer Dale Daniels, 59, of Mason City, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2006, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, from diabetes, liver cancer, and other complications due to Agent Orange.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 12, 2006, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mason City, with Rev. Mark Lavrenz officiating. Military honors will be conducted after the funeral service at the church by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.

Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in rural Ackley, with military honors conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 790, Mason City, and the Elliot Keninger American Legion Post 252, Ackley. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, Mason City, and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
