Margaret E. Tonneson, 85, of Forest City, died on Friday, March 1, 2002,
at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 3, at
the Immanuel
Lutheran Church in Forest City. The Rev. Lee Laaveg officiated.
Burial will be at a later date in the Newburg Cemetery in Newburg, North Dakota.
The
Petersen Lund Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her five children, their spouses and
families: Jim and Carolyn of Fergus Falls and their children, Mark and
his wife Kat, Scott and his wife, Jennifer Thorson and their son, Owen
and Kimi; Jon and Joanie of Newburg and their daughter, Jill Britz and
her husband Andy and Jay; Jo Anne and Keith Helland of Lake Mills and
their daughters, Joy and Janelle; Jeannine and Darwin Bruesewitz of Isle
and their son, Jeff and Amy Holdgrafer and their daughter, Gavyn and
Jana; Jerry and Cindy of Davenport and their children, Renae and Michael.

Daniel H. Meyer, 88, of Woden, died on Sunday, March 3, 2002, at the
Westview Care Center in Britt.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m.,
on Wednesday, March 6, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in
Titonka.
The Rev. James L. Berka officiated. Burial was in the Bingham
Township Cemetery, Woden, with the Cataldo Funeral Home in charge of
the arrangements.
Survivors include his three sons, Edward Daryl Meyer
and his wife, Janet of Fort Dodge, Gary Meyer and his wife, Joyce of
Garner and Ronnie Meyer and his wife, Carole of Bloomington, Minnesota; 12
grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Meyer of
Kanawha; a sister, Ruth DeWaard of Woden; three sisters-in-law, Hanna
Mae Meyer of Woden, Martha Riggle and her husband, Ernest of Crystal
Lake and Bertha Monsen of Forest City; and many nieces and nephews.

T. Haugland, 85, of Woden, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at
the Kanawha Community Home.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 11, at
the Grant
Lutheran Church near Woden. The Rev. Arlen Lloyd officiated.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years,
Dorothy of Woden; three children, Dean Haugland and his wife,
Doris of Forest City, Linda Lunning and her husband, Roger of
Forest City and Dale Haugland and his wife, LaRae of Crystal
Lake; a son-in-law, Paul Lenz of Spencer; 12 grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; a sister, Sarah Ryerson of Mankato, Minnesota;
a brother, Lloyd Haugland and his wife, Lydia of Montgomery,
Alabama; along with nieces and nephews.

Mable Margaret (Boehmer) Feltz,
89
March 13, 2002
Mable Margaret (Boehmer) Feltz, the daughter of Joseph
Boehmer and Mary Gardner Boehmer, was born on January 19, 1913 in Alta
Vista. After attending school through the eighth grade and working on
her family farm for over 40 years, she worked in the restaurant business
until her retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonita Howland and
her husband, Howard of Clearwater, Florida and Marlis Ashley and her
husband, Floyd McKinney of San Antonio, Texas; two granddaughters who
lived with her and her husband, Penny Anderson and her husband, Cecil
of San Antonio, Texas and Pamela Schack of Ft. Dodge; four more
grandchildren, Dean Usher, Kimberly Johnson, Lori Jean Wilder and Bobbi
Jo Jackson; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her ashes will be interred at a later date
in the
Bingham Township Cemetery in Woden, with services at the St. John's Lutheran
Church. Arrangements are with the Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels, San
Antonio, Texas.

March 13, 2002
Memorial services for Bernice Glime, 88, of
Columbia, Missouri, were held on Friday, March 8, 2002, at the Presbyterian
Church in Manning. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery in
Manning, with the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning in charge of
the arrangements.
She and her husband lived in Forest City for a
number of years where she was bookkeeper in their auto parts
business. Her husband died in 1978. She retired that same year
and continued to live in Forest City until 1991, when she moved
to Columbia, Missouri, to be near her daughter.

of Thompson, died on Saturday, March 9, 2002, at the VA Medical
Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held
at 11:00 a.m., today, Wednesday, March 13, at the
Winter Funeral Home in Buffalo Center. The Rev. Mark Decker will
officiate. Burial will be in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

of Thompson, died on Monday, March 11, 2002, at the Mercy

Survivors include his wife, Karolyn of
Thompson; his children, Mark of Thompson and Joan and her
husband, Scott Flugum of Lake Mills; four grandchildren, Brandon
Flugum, Lucas Flugum, Brad Koppen and Marisa Koppen; his
sisters, Marilyn Houck and her husband, Dick of Minneapolis,
Betty Daher and her husband, Tom of Minneapolis and Diana
Gallagher and her husband, Skip of Palatine, Illinois; as well as
several other relatives and many dear friends.

Church in Forest City. The Rev. Craig Steimel will officiate.
Burial will be in the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Forest City,

Grand Junction, Colorado, David and Betty Jo of Yakima, Washington,

illness.

on Wednesday, April 3, at Chula Vista. Fr. Jose Luis Muro officiated.
Burial was in the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
Survivors include her brothers, Arthur Peterson and his wife,
Corabell of Fuquoy-Varina, North Carolina and Boyd Peterson and his wife,
Joann of San Diego, California; her daughter, Julie and grandson, Jon.
She was also survived by brother, Harlan Peterson of Canyon Country,
California, who died 16 days later.
