Funeral services for Betty Lou Moellers of Cresco will be held at 11:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at Notre Dame Parish in Cresco. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco.
Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the Conway Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. A parish vigil service was held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Conway Funeral Home in Cresco is handling the arrangements.
Betty, 82, died Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wis.
Betty Lou Moellers was born April 13, 1927 in Waucoma the daughter of Glen and Mary D. (Dickens) Myers.
On September 12, 1945 she married Rufus J. Moellers from Ossian. They farmed near Ridgeway from 1945 until 1988. She started making and decorating angel food cakes in 1971 and was very popular with her wedding cakes. She made cakes up to the time of her death.
When she retired and moved to Cresco, she worked part time at Bernadette's Clothing Store.
She is survived by her children: Wanda (Jerry) Reicks of Cresco, Zelda Lee (Steve) Price of Grand Rapids, MI, Rochel (Rick) Buck of Cresco, Cindy Lou (Duane) Omar of Cresco, and Kurt (Maureen) Moellers of Ridgeway; 14 grandchildren: Jamie Reicks and Mandy Olsen; Kristy Jones and Georgia Price; Crystal Stevenson and Kelsey Buck; David Omar, Jeremy Omar, Jessica Pullman, and Kayla Carroll; Justin Moellers, Derek Moellers, Travis Moellers and Trina Moellers; 16 great-grandchildren: Trae Riniker, Bailey Brunsvold, Aiden Reicks, Atley Olson, Austin Jones, Haley, Olivia and Blake Stevenson, Tristen Pullman, Madison Bakken, Bobby Carroll, Shawn, Kyler, Brandon, Logan and Sadie Omar.
Betty Lou was preceded in death by her husband Rufus on March 14, 2009, a daughter: Sharon Mary; her parents, Glen and Mary Myers; and one brother: Gene Myers.

Memorial services for Bernard I. Cleveland of Cresco were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at the Conway Funeral Home in Cresco.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Bernard, 69, died at his home.
Bernard Ira Cleveland was born February 21, 1940, in Cresco, Iowa, the son of Ira Joseph and Blanche Ilene (Jeffers) Cleveland. He went to school in Cresco. Bernie worked for the Sanitation Department and also was an accountant doing income taxes. He lived in Cresco all of his life.
He enjoyed reading, especially magazines, and he enjoyed drives through the countryside.
He is survived by two sisters: Barbara, and her husband, Gene Cleghorn from Waseca, MN and Juanita Grimm from Cresco; several nieces and nephews: Dennis Cheghorn, Brian Cleghorn, Deb Cleghorn, Nadine Cleghorn, Kim Goracke, Ronald Grimm, Tom Grimm, Randy Grimm, and Lori Bakken; and great nieces and nephews.
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law: Sylvester "Nick" Grimm; and one nephew: Michael Grimm.

Funeral services for Rochelle A. (Andrews) Scott of Burt, IA were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Burt Presbyterian Church. Interment was in East Lawn Memory Gardens in Algona.
Lentz Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Rochelle, 73, died Monday, August 24, 2009 at the Heritage Nursing Home in Bancroft.
From the fall of 1957 to the spring of 1960 she taught mathematics at Crestwood High School.

Funeral services for Grace Berge of Harmony, Minn. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009 at Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony is handling the arrangements.
Grace, 90, died Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Harmony Health Care.
