         2010 Record . . .

Carlyle Merritt (from Mason City) was the guest speaker. He presented the program "THE VISUAL APPROACH"
"The Scrap Booking Approach
" for Recording Your Family Genealogy.

The February 6th program was presented by Jerry Krieger.  The three parts of his presentation included the history of how Germans (all from one village in Germany) came to populate a village called Norka in Russia, their emigration to the United States and the reasons for it (mostly in Nebraska, Kansas, Oregon, etc.), and those German immigrants in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.
